Who is Eligible to Receive Home Health Services under the Medicare Benefits?

To qualify for hone health services a patient must: - Be homebound - require assistance to    leave home - Need intermittent care or instructions - Requires the service of a skilled health   care professional that will coordinate   and provide medical treatments or   special procedures prescribed by the   patient's physician - Must be under the care of a physician   who is willing to provide the agency with   orders.

Who Pays for the Services?

Approved services are covered 100% by Medicare. Patients may be covered under insurance policies, or may pay privately for home health services. True Care Home Health Services handles all insurance coverage requirements and processes all claims. Medicare's policy is that no person shall, on the basis of race, age, handicap, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discriminatory practices.
